Introduction: Talk with Mrs. Frida at the entrance. After the trip she will wait you with hot coffee and fried eggs, good bread and marmalade of rhubarb and calafate, in a comfortable warm space.
The entrance cost is about US$ 8 per person.
You must climb a muddy footpath until reach a Patagonic forest.
After this area, you'll reach the top of the hill, about 600 meters over the sea.
The view is very beauty of all the fiord, glaciers and even may watch some native animals.
Go with waterproof clothes and shoes. The wind is severe. And sometimes rain or snow.

La laguna de las ánimas

Introducción: Una excelente caminata donde se puede observar la transición entre un paisaje de montaña a uno cordillerano. El sendero esta bien señalizado y existen muchas quebradas para hidratarse.
Se recomienda llevar una buena carpa y bastante ropa para abrigarse en las noches. Durante las caminatas hay que protegerse del sol con ropa fresca, pero que cubra bien el cuerpo y bloqueador solar.

En busca del Lago Melado

Introducción: En general ya es común encontrar en Internet imágenes de cada lago o laguna de Chile, pero del Lago Melado no se tiene registro. El viaje es una aventura con ascensos intermedios de montaña, cruzando hermosos bosques de Robles y Coníferas nativas, acompañado de una tranquilidad que recompone el espíritu, para finalizar en una cumbre de 2.100 msnm con vista al hermoso Lago.

Einleitung: Ideal für einen kurzen Ausflug und sehr gut geeignet für Familien, bietet das Naturreservat Altos de Lircay nur 60 km östlich der Stadt Talca schöne Wandermöglichkeiten. Das Reservat kann sowohl mit Privattransport aber auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel erreicht werden. Mehrere kurze Touren führen durch schöne Südbuchenwälder, zu tiefen Schluchten und Aussichtpunkten mit Blicken auf die umliegende Bergwelt. Oft sieht man die Magellanspechte mit den roten Köpfen und mit etwas Glück kreist ein Kondor über den Mirador Peine.

Einleitung: Mehrere kleine Seen finden sich rund um der grossen Laguna de Maule im Grenzgebiet zu Argentinien. Die Landschaft passt eher in die Atacamawüste, Sand, Staubfahnen wirbeln über die Vulkanhänge, karge Grashänge. Die Wanderung ist besondern im Frühjahr bis Dezember zu empfehlen wenn die umliegenden Berge noch verschneit sind. Die beiden Seen Laguna del Piojo und Sin Puerto sind jedoch nicht sol eicht zu finden. Es empfiehlt sich die GPS Daten runter zu laden.

Kaktus Höhenkamm Wanderung

Einleitung: Besonders im Frühjahr und im späten Herbst, mit etwas Schnee auf den Bergkuppen, intensiver Laubfärbung oder den bunten Frühjahrsblüten lohnt sich diese Tour. Wenn andere Wandergebiet noch nicht geöffnet sind oder schon wieder geschlossen, bietet Zentralchile noch viele Möglichkeiten. Die Wanderung führt anfangs durch Sommerwälder und dann über Grashänge in das Hochgebirge. Nicht nur der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Andengipfel lohnt. Mit etwas Glück entdecken Wanderer auch die nur hier vorkommende Kaktusart Austrocactus hibernus, versteckt in den Ritzen und Spalten der Felsen.

Introducción: Hermoso parque de 11.600 hectáreas, cuyo atractivo principal lo compone la laguna que le da su nombre (laguna del laja). Verde esmeralda son sus aguas e irregulares su costa de escoria volcánica. Dominando desde las alturas el Volcán Antuco, 2965msnm y la sierra velluda 3165msnm con una riqueza vegetal muy especial en donde el Ciprés de Cordillera (Austrocedrus Chilensis) Radal Enano( orites myrtoidea) , Maitén de Chobut (Maytenus Chubutensis),son dominantes ,por el camino también puede observarse una flora muy particular de esta zona como Cojín de la Suegra (Maihuenia Poeppiggi), entre Senecios y Orquideas . Además, existen ventisqueros y saltos de agua de gran belleza escénica, como las Chilcas y Torbellino apenas a 20 minutos de caminata desde el lugar para estacionar el vehículo
El trekking “Los Carpinteros” es una caminata para todo el día full o un día y medio más relajado donde se avanza por el valle del “Toro” denominado así por su cumbre oeste y al este el “Rocoso” el valle es una planicie de arena volcánica hasta llegar a la zona más verde donde el camino se vuelve muy agradable entre bosque de langas y coihues las cuales son el hábitat de los Carpinteros Negros (Campephilus magellanicus) el cual da nombre a este trekking el senderó es su último tramo tiene bastante pendiente pero no pone una dificultad mayor para llegar al final de la ruta para rematar con sus lagunas, “los patos” ,dos lagunas ,las cuales son concurridas por gran cantidad de aves dependiendo la época del año

waterfalls of maule

Introduction: This is for sure one of the nicest walks in Southern Chile. The way itself is partly very dusty but at the end of the 4 hour hike we saw many big waterfalls, many of whom are up to 100meters high. It is not understandable why this region is not yet known as a touristic spot. At the end it is possible to take a bath in the nearby hot springs of Campanario after another 30 minute walk. Who don’t want to hike for such a long time can also visit the waterfalls from “above” in a 30minute hike, which starts further east off the main road.

Einleitung: Mit Sicherheit landschaftlich eine der schönsten Wanderungen in Zentralchile. Der Weg selbst ist dabei zwar eine staubige Angelegenheit aber auf einer vierstündigen Tour zeigen sich uns mehrere riesige Wasserfälle die sich mit Getöse um die 100 Meter in die Tiefe stürzen. Auf unverständlicher Weise sind diese vom Tourismus bisher noch nicht entdeckt worden. Als Abschluss können nach einer zusätzlichen halben Stunde die Thermen von Campanario genossen werden. Wer weniger Lust auf die Wanderung hat kann ebenfalls sehr schöne Wasserfälle in einer halben Stunde Rundweg bestaunen.

Volcan Callaqui

Introducción: El Callaqui También conocido como "Callaquén" o "La Blanca" (denominación de arrieros y baqueanos del sector),es un estratovolcán localizado en los Andes, región del Bío-Bío en Chile, en las coordenadas 37°55′0″S 71°27′0″O-37.91667, -71.45. Es una larga cubierta de hielo, sobre rocas volcánicas de basalto-andesita, que se extiende del nordeste al suroeste, elevándose a lo largo de una grieta de 11 km de longitud, como un edificio fisural, que alcanza hasta los 3.164 m.s.n.m.
Numerosos conos de ceniza y flujos de lava han hecho erupción desde respiraderos a lo largo de la gran fisura lineal. Las fumarolas han constituido gran parte de la actividad del Callaqui. Erupciones menores fueron reportadas en 1751, 1864 y 1937; la última fue una pequeña erupción freática en 1980.

Volcano San Pedro

Introduction: Up to a few years ago, the volcan San Pedro was totally unkonown as a trekking destination. Nowadays, the region gets more and more known. First trekking huts offer comfort and cowboys offer baggage transport into the basecamp. As well, local guides inform about different trekking possibilities. Ones on top, the view to the surrounding mountains is fantastic. You can see Descabezado Grande, Cerro Azul, Cerro Azufre, Campanario and Domuyo -- the highest mountain of Patagonia. There are 4 possibilities to reach the top. We describe the ascend via the valley Castillo.

El Tata loop

Introduction: Easily reachable in one hour by public bus from Talca, the private park of Tricahue offers multiple trekking opportunities. The mountains above the Maule valley, where the park is situated, are covered with native forests. Clear streams follow the many valleys downhill. There are two refugies in the park which can be used by the trekkers. Especially in autumn the tours are extremely beautiful because of the different colours of the leaves. The locals also admire the area because of the good fishing opportunities.

Campanario valley

Introduction: The volcan Campanario tower the landscape of the international pass Pehuenche. Recently to road is undergoing major construction and is already completety asphalted up the thermal baths. Alone the drive along the Maule valley is worth the journey. The road passes the turquoise colored Lago Colbun, native forests and finaly the tree line into the
world of the condors. The tour to the viewpoint can be finished with a bath in the thermal pools.

Naturpark Tricahue - Rundwanderung EL Tata

Einleitung: Leicht mit dem öffentlichen Bus in einer Stunde von Talca aus zu erreichen, bietet der Privatpark Tricahue verschiedene Wandermöglichkeiten. Von einheimischen Naturwäldern bedeckt, ziehen sich die Hänge nördlich des Mauletales hoch zum Naturreservat Altos de Lircay. Glasklare Bäche strömen dem Tal entgegen, zwei Refugios stehen dem Wanderer zu Verfügung und besonders im Herbst lohnen sich hier Touren wegen der intensiven Laubfärbung und den zahlreichen Papagein. Bekannt ist diese Gebiet bei Einheimischen wegen der guten Fischgewässer.
