Empleos como guía

• I guided in Chile and the United States since 1994 on the Payette River System in Idaho; in Colorado on the Eagle, Colorado, and Arkansas rivers.
• In the late 90´s in Pucon I worked for Aventur, in conjunction with Sol y Nieve. In 94 through 97 I worked with Andes Whitewater in Curico. From 1994 until 2003 I worked with a United States youth kayaking olympic development team based in Idaho and traveling throughout Chile.
• Founded Chilean Adventures in 2002 which has its basecamp in Los Quenes and dedicates most of its time to guiding in the Maule Region of Chile.

Observaciones del guía

• I have been lucky to lead and be part of a handful of first descents in the Maule Region of Chile and in the United States.
• Off of the water, and apart from guiding, I am the program director for Chilean Adventures where I plan multiday trips trekking, horsepacking, rafting, and kayaking.
• As a teacher at the Universidad del Mar in Curico and San Fernando I prepare future English teachers in North American literature, grammar, writing, public speaking, and conversation. For Chilean Adventures I also coordinate high school and university study abroad programs with Chile as a destination for learning, experiencing, and adventure.
