Hotel in Talca, between the coast and the Andes

Amidst the Chilean wine-growing district, looking towards the snow-covered Andes, is Hotel Casa Chueca. The nature reserves of the Altos de Lircay and the Siete Tazas are wonderful hiking destinations, mountain farmers accompany equestrians through the Melado Valley, and the surrounding vineyards welcome wine tasters.

The Hotel is situated on 6 hectors along the banks of the Lircay river. Our guests can enjoy the children’s playground, pool, wine-cellar, vegetarian restaurant, Wi-fi, bike rental, jacuzzi, language school, petting zoo, a fitness room, inline-skating, pedal go-kart and a seminar room. Our different room options offer adequate accommodation for every traveller.

Mountain lodge

Our “Lamalodge” is located in the core of the Melado Valley at the foot of the volcano San Pedro, only a two hour’s drive from Casa Chueca. Despite its remote location the Lamalodge offers a lot of comfort: kitchen, living-room with wood-fire heating, comfy beds and warm showers. The lodge is the perfect starting point for exploring the Andean world by foot or on horseback.

Activities and Offers

Many vineyards are waiting for you to visit; an old train chugs to the Pacific coast; the virgin woods in the Andes and the majestic Cordillera attract hikers from all over the world. We can provide you with information for your personal trips or you can book them with us.

Important Data

Casa Chueca is closed from the beginning of June to the end of August.
The Chilean Central Region allows hiking from September till the end of autumn.
