For our clients we do have no inflatable canoes. you can go down the rivers Lircay, Claro and Maule. For kids we go down a few kilometers on the rio Lircay, starting at the Casa Chueca.

Like every year we keep open to celebrate with you the Christmas eve at the 24.12.2011. We do want to have a nice ambiance but we are not organizing a religious party. NOTE!!! We give our staff a free day at the 25.12.2011 to spend a day with their family. We are open again at the 26.12. in the morning.

Pony for kids

Our new Pony "Chiquitin" make your stay with children more pleasant. It is really gentle and even for the youngest kids no problem.

Canopy in Talca

For our young visitors we finished the construction of our canopy. Our clients can use it for free but only under supervision of their parents.

For children up to 6 years we do have now a own playground. It is easy to watch the kids from our restaurant at the terrace.

The playground next to the riverside became to small. No we have a bigger place, using sand for the ground. We wish our young visitors a nice time in the Casa Chueca.

The family is still growing. Since yesterday Heidi and Schnucki are playing with their elder sister mrs. Rottenmaier. We still have to feed them with milk. It seems they like their luxury stable.

Casa Chueca supports relief projects

Casa Chueca is supporting and financing relief projects in the earth quake region. We are bringing food, matresses, blankets and flour to local people. We are supported by Codeff, an environmental NGO. Even our guests are giving us a hand.

Casa Chueca survived earthquake

In spite of the strong earthquake we suffered recently our hostal did not sustain heavy damage. A bit limited we are still running our accommodation. The center of Talca is in big parts destroyed. Supermarkets and gasoline stations are working slowly. Public buses are starting to run again. The foto shows our guests who stayed in our hostel in these sad times. Thanks to all of you helping us to clean up the mass.

after 10 years the first flowering

The terrestrial bromeliad takes up to 20 years to get the first time flowers. We planted it 10 years ago and now we are proud to see the first flowers on it. It´s just awesome.
