Casa Chueca supports relief projects

Casa Chueca is supporting and financing relief projects in the earth quake region. We are bringing food, matresses, blankets and flour to local people. We are supported by Codeff, an environmental NGO. Even our guests are giving us a hand.

Casa Chueca survived earthquake

In spite of the strong earthquake we suffered recently our hostal did not sustain heavy damage. A bit limited we are still running our accommodation. The center of Talca is in big parts destroyed. Supermarkets and gasoline stations are working slowly. Public buses are starting to run again. The foto shows our guests who stayed in our hostel in these sad times. Thanks to all of you helping us to clean up the mass.

after 10 years the first flowering

The terrestrial bromeliad takes up to 20 years to get the first time flowers. We planted it 10 years ago and now we are proud to see the first flowers on it. It´s just awesome.

Our new coffee shop

We are constructing next to our jogging loop a small cafe. Kids are playing around with bikes and small Kettcars,while there parents are enyoing a book an coffee in the shadow.
