You want to get to know the authentic Chile, far away from the touristic trails?
Then we recommend you stay a weekend at our mountain shelter Lamalodge! Even the direct surrounding of the cottage, which is situated at 800 m altitude, makes the heart of a nature lover beat faster. You can make beautiful hikes during the day, spend the evening snugly at the campfire, watching the endless starry sky and listening to the gentle rush of the creek.
Jaime, our Spanish-speaking staff member of the Lamalodge, will accompany you competently through the rich world of fauna and flora of the Melado Valley.
Hiking, (there is a half-day as well as a whole-day hike) through this fascinating mountain area impresses with its panorama of the mountain peaks which gives you the feeling of being in the Himalayas.
Procedure:
SATURDAY:
Transfer 4 x 4 from the Casa Chueca to the Lamalodge.
Half-day hike with Jaime (or optional horseback riding, 12,000 p. day).
Accomodation in bunk beds (sleeping bag with newly washed inlay available).
SUNDAY:
Whole day hike with Jaime
Transfer from Lamalodge to the Casa Chueca.
