Major Round Trip

Chile is the longest country on earth. With the huge 4500 km extension from north to south,it is an amazingly diversified country. Our round trip is equally diversified. A visit to Santiago at the outset of our trip sheds an interesting light on the different facets of the metropolis with its 6 million inhabitants. We visit the center on foot with its lively main square and we try a famous “café cortado”.From here we take a flight right up to the north and into the heart of the Atacama desert. On different day tours we are able to admire miracles of nature including salt lagoons, steaming geysers, a mountain range formed from salt and bizarre cactus-filled scenery,The landscape changes dramatically when we go down to Puerto Varas. Beautiful dense rainforests nestle up to glacier-covered volcanoes which are reflected in the Llanquihue lake. With these impressive sights in mind we travel on to the extreme south of the continent. We explore what has to be the most impressive national park in Chile – Torres del Paine. The park is not only a scenic attraction but also a wonderful area for admiring diversified fauna. With good weather conditions we get impressive views on our flight back to Santiago over glaciers and continental ice.
