Descabezado Trek & Cerro Plomo

A six day round trip takes us to some of the most lovely places in Central Chile which we explore by foot. Afterwards we do a five day trek through native forests, lava streams and impressive valleys, including a climb of the Descabezado Grande Volcano. Beautiful camping spots at waterfalls and hot springs surrounded by spectacular landscapes make this tour one of the best treks in South America. Our equipment will be carried by horses making this trek with its relatively long hiking days a lot easier for us.Our “crowning achievement” for our second trip is the ascent of Mount Plomo at 5424 meters above sea-level and located close to Santiago.Between these two trips we have a day to relax.
