To promote the 7th region Maule after the earthquake, the Foundation TrekkingChile and Centro GPS Garmin hide 16 Geocaches in the provinces Cordillera, Valle Central, Costa Cordillera and Costa. With your attendance you help the victims, use the intact touristic infrastructure and show the world, that Maule is not gone for touristic activities. We need you!

Discounts:
Geocaching help the region, which was destroyed during the earthquake on Feb. 27th 2010. All ventures, which attend this project, gives a discount of 20% for accommodation and 10% discount for meals or other service. To get the discount, you just need to show your GPS and the “Geocache-Passport”.
What you need?
A GPS and you have to print out your Passport „Geocaching helps the earthquake-region“. Also you will get it in the office of Sernatur de Maule Uno Oriente Nº 1150, piso 1 y 4, Talca Fono: (71) 233669. Fax : (71) 226940, and in the turistinformation 1sur 4oriente
How does it work?
In every Geocache which is hiding by the Foundation TrekkingChile, you will find a chop to seal your Geocache-passport. All touristic ventures, which attend this project, give you an additional chop in your passport, if you use their service. When you finish your tour or holiday, send your geocache-passport to the following address:

Who wins the prices?
The actual winner is the destroyed region in Chile. Thanks for your support. The participants with the most chops in the Geocache-passport will win the prices. If passports have even chops, prices will be drawn.
