GuidesOur guides are native German and english speakers living in South America. Any new route is led either by a very experienced guide or with the assistance of local guides. All our tours are accompanied by one of our own guides for the whole duration of the trip. Local guides come in to assist at specific points or for visiting cultural sites. In addition to purely guiding the group, one of the main aims of our guides is to create a family atmosphere within the group. Having dinner together gives the participants the opportunity to enjoy local specialties and improves the team spirit. We are very aware that an El Caminante guide is also the representative of our partner company, and we realize that only the highest standards are acceptable. Turismo El Caminante is training people to become officially approved guides for the Maule Region in Chile.
