Turismo El Caminante has been supporting various social and ecological
projects in Chile for many years thanks to the support of
tourists, the chilean goverment and members of the Catholic Church of Austria.
In this context we work closely together with CODEFF, a private
Chilean foundation for the protection of nature, which has been
chosen for the efficient manner in which it spends and invests
its funds. It also provides an excellent example of the benefits
that can be obtained from close cooperation between tourism and
social-ecological projects.
