Day 1
We travel 115 km on gravel road to arrive in the hidden Melado Valley
at our Lamalodge. A short hike shows us the rich diversity of the native
Maulean forest.
Day
2
We go by car along the shore of the river Melado to the village Aduana.
There we start our hike to the viewpoint Casa Piedra with splendid lookouts
over the green lake Melado. On the way back we stop by the river for
a picnic and to take a refreshing bath.
Day
3
By 4WD we go to the southern end of the Melado valley. After 2 hours
hiking we get to one of the most beautiful landscapes of Chile: San
Pedro, behind the majestic volcano with its snowcap all the year around.
On the way back we stop by a local family and enjoy a typical picnic
with mate herb.
Day
4
It is time to leave but not without doing another hike through native
forest up to the Cerro Alemán. Late arrival to Talca.
